We are looking for Master and PhD's students to join our team!

1. Graduate students who join this lab are eligible for RA support from AIST (産総研)

- PhD students: Approx. 220,000 JPY/month

- Master’s students: Approx. 90,000 JPY/month

2. Our laboratory is also capable of accepting Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Research Fellows (DC, PD). 

The D3 Center is equipped with supercomputers and GPUs, allowing us to fully utilize computational resources for implementing deep learning models and large language models (LLMs). This enables us to tackle research problems with high computational costs and advance cutting-edge research.

To join our laboratory, please follow the following procedures:

1. Apply for admission to Information Systems Engineer course, Division of Electronic and Information Engineer, School of Engineering, Osaka University

2. Apply for admission to Multimedia Engineering Major, Graduate School of Information Science and Technology, Osaka University.

Each procedure is described in detail as follows. Please note that you should read the application guide of the year you want to join before you apply since the following procedure is subject to change year by year.

1. Apply for admission to Information Systems Engineer course, Division of Electronic and Information Engineer, School of Engineering, Osaka University

• 1.  Your application should be submitted to Division of Electronic and Information Engineer, School of Engineering, Osaka University.

  2. At the end of the first grade, you should select the subject of "Information and Communications Technology".

  3. August of the second grade, you should select "Information Systems Engineer Course"

  4. 1) At the end of the second grade, students with the best score can join the laboratory from the beginning of the third grade.

2) In September at the third grade, students with better score can join the laboratory from October of the third grade.

3) In April at the fourth grade, students should submit their laboratory list to join.

2. Apply for admission to Multimedia Engineering Major, Graduate School of Information Science and Technology, Osaka University.

If you want to join the laboratory from the graduate school, you should send inquiry before sending your application. You must write your inquiry with what you want to research in our laboratory. Inquiries that seem no relation with our laboratory may not be replied.

In your application, you should show your intention to join our laboratory.
